Sinopse: A história acompanha as aventuras do casal Tommy (David Walliams, de Big School) e Prudence (Jessica Raine, de Call the Midwife, Wolf Hall), mais conhecida como Tuppence, detetives amadores que surgiram na literatura em 1922, tendo estrelado quatro romances da escritora: O Inimigo Secreto/The Secret Adversary (1922), M ou N?/N or M? (1941), Um Pressentimento Funesto/By the Pricking of My Thumbs (1968) e Portal do Destino/Postern of Fate (1973). A dupla também estrelou quinze contos que foram publicados em um livro em 1929, o qual recebeu o título de Sócios do Crime/Partners in Crime, daí o nome da série. Ao longo de suas histórias, o casal foi envelhecendo. Eles iniciam suas aventuras na faixa dos vinte e poucos anos e encerram com cerca de setenta anos.
